TL;DR
Credits are RightMatch AI's usage-based currency for resume enrichment and interview processing. 1 credit = 1 resume enrichment. 5 credits = 1 interview processed (transcription, video processing, and answer scoring). Your plan includes a monthly credit allocation, and credits reset each billing cycle. You can purchase additional credits as needed while logged in to RightMatch
Why We Use Credits
Credits control access to RightMatch AI's most powerful features. Without them, you can't enrich candidate resumes or process video and audio interviews. Understanding how credits work helps your team avoid unexpected slowdowns and plan hiring activity more effectively.
Every plan includes a monthly credit allocation. Knowing the cost of each action upfront lets you estimate how many candidates you can process before needing to upgrade your plan, or purchase additional credit allocations. Since enrichments and video interviews takes real AI processing power, these credits help cover those processing costs.
What Are Credits?
Credits are a usage-based unit in RightMatch AI. You spend credits when the platform successfully performs an enrichment or processes an interview on your behalf.
Credits are shared across your entire workspace. All users draw from the same pool, and credits reset on your billing cycle date each month. When you are low or out of credits, you may purchase additional credits right in the RightMatch dashboard.
What You Can Do with Credits
Resume Enrichment (1 credit)
Triggered when:
You click Enrich on a candidate profile
A resume is automatically imported from your ATS integration
A resume is uploaded through other automated workflows
Each enrichment extracts structured candidate data, analyzes the resume against your open role, and generates a match score based on your hiring preferences.
1 credit per enrichment — regardless of how the enrichment was triggered.
Interview Processing (5 credits)
Triggered when an interview is submitted for processing. This covers the full suite of analysis:
Transcription — converting spoken responses to text
Video processing — analyzing the candidate's recorded interview
Answer scoring — evaluating responses against your role criteria and scoring rubric
5 credits per interview — all three steps are included in a single processing action.
Credit Usage at a Glance
Action | Credits Used |
Resume Enrichment | 1 credit |
Interview Processing (transcription + video + scoring) | 5 credits |
How Monthly Credits Work
Your credit allocation resets on the same calendar day each month, based on your billing cycle.
Unused credits from the current month do not roll over to the next month.
Credits are shared per workspace — all team members draw from the same pool.
FAQs
What happens when credits run out?
Enrichments and interview processing will pause until your credits reset or additional credits are purchased. To avoid disruptions mid-campaign, monitor your balance proactively — especially during high-volume hiring periods.
Do ATS imports count toward my credits?
Yes. Any resume that triggers an enrichment — whether initiated manually or automatically via your ATS integration — uses 1 credit.
If I enrich the same candidate twice, does it use 2 credits?
Yes. Each enrichment action uses 1 credit, regardless of whether the candidate has been enriched before. Avoid re-enriching candidates unless new information has been added to their profile. When you update a skills matrix for a job, all candidates for that job will be re-enriched as well to account for the new scoring.
Do all team members share the same credit pool?
Yes. Credits are counted per workspace, not per user. All enrichments and interviews processed by any team member draw from the same monthly allocation.
Can I increase my credit limit?
Yes. Additional credit capacity and enterprise-level allocations are available. Contact your RightMatch AI success manager or reach out via the support chat to discuss options.
Will I be notified when credits are running low?
RightMatch AI will surface status notifications within the platform. You can also view the remaining credits for each month in the lower left corner of your screen. Depending on your workspace notification settings, you may also receive in-app or email alerts.
Best Practices to Manage Credit Usage
Prioritize active roles — focus enrichments on candidates in active pipelines rather than bulk-importing speculatively.
Avoid duplicate enrichments — only re-enrich a candidate when new information has been added to their profile.
Coordinate across your team — if you're nearing your monthly threshold, communicate with colleagues so credits are reserved for the most time-sensitive candidates or purchase additional credits to ensure all enrichments happen.
Plan for high-volume periods — if you're anticipating a spike in hiring activity, reach out to your success manager ahead of time to discuss expanded capacity.
